Like its gastronomic offering, the atmosphere of Hawker45 is inspired by the trips that Laila has made, as well as its Latin-Filipino origins. Thus, the Latin influences of Chef Laila’s paternal family are noted in details of the decoration, and extend to the menu and its ingredients (bananas, chili, tamale, corn, octopus, chili, etc.) and culinary techniques. In addition to colorful wall murals, the restaurant features an open-plan kitchen which pays homage to traditional street Hawkers.
