BETWEEN ASIA AND LATIN AMERICA
Like its gastronomic offering, the atmosphere of Hawker45 is inspired by travels across Asia, as well as its Latin-Filipino origins. Latin influences of the chef’s paternal family are noted in details of the decoration, and extend to the menu, ingredients (bananas, chili, tamale, corn, octopus, chili, etc.) and culinary techniques. Also, the restaurant features an open-show kitchen which pays homage to traditional street hawkers.
